Some internal politics at "Gliders" I think, the impression now is that they want to be more of a big box shop than a modellers shop,at least John had a good background aeromodelling.

BTW,unless you're definitely decided on a Trex, there's shop in Leeds selling the Dragonus Elite kit for £200.00 and the Dragonus SA for £74.00.

Decided ,if only i could,i think the more i read the worse it gets ,ive got myself an ic though, bought a v2 30 rappy of a well known auction site looks ok to,all the starting gear, reasonably good servos, good giro, and for what i paid for it if the helly its self is any good it will be a bonus, hopefully pick that up later this evening. As for the electric, well i really dont know ,i fancy one of the bigger electric hellys ie trex 600,raptorE550,swift,but i darnt tell you how much ive just been qouted for a rex 600 complete with 3 batteries, charger etc, minus radio because if my mrs was to see it ill be looking for somewhere else to live .Hmmm now theres a thought.I might be lucky enough to see a large electric in action later so im going to hang fire for a bit,i think the only thing with the bigger ones is the batteries they are seriously expensive.Just going to have to keep looking and drooling for the time being,Lyndon.

Hi John, yes it flew quiet well to be honest,i had one little go later on after most people had gone,i was ok for a start and was doing ok but then i started to shake with nerves so gave it up and going to have a go another day.I must just say though a very very big thanks to Dave he spent so much time setting it up and test flying it he was brilliant and there is no way i could have done it myself,i also learned a fair bit just watching him,i must say it was nice to see it fly after Dave had spent all that time on it,and he sure knows what hes doing,Big big thanks Dave.Trex 600? cant say to much at the moment but watch this space .All ill say is im going to be doing all my training on the raptor, and im not getting rid of my 4x4.Lyndon.
