  • Breaking in new batteries

I keep reading that new lipos need breaking in.

Can someone please clarify this for me,and if they do,what's the recommended way to do it?

I usually have 5 or 6 half discharge flights on a new pack to give it a gentle introduction to general usage.

    Cheers,

If I've got this right then,If I set my lipo warning to around 10.5 volts for the initial four or five runs it'll help, and then set it to just over 10.0 volts after that.

For the first 3-4 flights just fly gently and fly for 4-5 minutes (no full pitch pumps).
