  • Twister 3D Storm - 3D mode?

    Hi guys.

I bought a Storm 3D a while ago and i'm kind of getting the hang of it and i love flying it. (still a beginner)

The instuctions are a bit vague tho, Like how when i stacked it and needed to replace some parts all i had to go on was an exploded view picture in the back of the book ( managed to figure it out in the end ) dose anyone know of like a pdf file or something i could download from somewhere to help rebuild in the future?

Also it mentions nothing on how to make it fly in 3D mode? Yes i know there is a switch on the transmitter you flick but i have a friend with a similar heli that accidently had the 3D switch flicked on and had his throttle all the way down and ended up stripping the main gear instantly when he plugged it in?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

OK... Twister instructions ... They are vauge at best but heres a link to the UK importers stuff J Perkins Distribution - Twister.

3D frying. its no problem The switch on the raido you refer to (from memory) is what any normal tx would call the idel up switch. Dont pull it when you have the head stopped it will do what you have just had happen. When you have the heli airbourne it will disconnect the throttle from the pitch and leave the the throttle at full. This enables you to pull negitive pitch without the engine stopping hence 3D...

Cool thanks Steve. You just saved me some $$$$$$ and a lot of rebuilding. Not that im ready for 3D just at this moment but it is handy to know what to do for when the day comes.

And also thanks for the link. The exploded view is bigger and has the part numbers next to them, can see what i'm doing now.

        HI mate

If im not mistaken the twister storm is near identical to the blade 400 with many parts being interchangeable. (please correct me if this is wrong)

That being the case you can look at blade 400 guides. You should find these links a good starting point to understanding setup and repair.
