  • Hi from Stoke on Trent

    Hi,

New to RC Helicopters. Just bought a Syma S032 and loving it so far. Battery life isnt that good (6mins after 30 mins charge) but really getting into it now.

Are there any other members with this helicopter?

Oh God, another poor lost soul looking for salvation in the land of RC Helicopters!

Well you have come to the right place, but there are a couple of things to remember:-

            - Never ever reveal to your other half how much you spend on this hobby (obsession), it will really spoil your enjoyment.

            - Never keep tabs on how much you spend, that way you can keep on upgrading at will.

            - Ask any question you like, there is no such thing as a dumb question - we've all been there and got the tee shirt. There really is a ton of help available and this is the best forum that I've joined by far!

            - The bad moments are vastly outweighed by the good moments, you will never forget the first "hover" or the blind panic when things go a bit wrong.

            - Enjoy every bloody minute of your new vocation.

            Cheers,
            Simon

As asomaro said, never be embarassed to ask any question on here, you will not get shot down or ridiculed. We have all been there and there is so much to learn (we do understand that)............far better to double check something with this lot than damage your model, or at worst, yourself. Good luck and I suggest you brief your wallet as it's in for a bumpy ride!!!!

You'll certainly find people there on a Sunday after 11am and most likely on a saturday as well

Contact Tom Burgess, Dannyyy, Tony Stevens or myself on here and we can tell you closer to the time exactly when we'll be down on the weekend

You will be made very welcome

Mostly people are there on a Sunday. Saturdays show a good turn out too. With the weather as it is the week nights are beginning to be popular too.

PM me if you want to arrange something Matt
