msr and dx7

having received today my blade msr having chosen this heli from advice on here (thanks everyone) could anyone talk me through setting it up with my dx7

i have all the manuals but a lot of it is greek to me, i just want to ensure i have it set right so i'm not fighting against a bad set up

I've not got a DX7 but as far as I know your mSR shouldn't need anything special and should work fine with your default tx settings (same as the DX6i)
Just use an empty model memory slot, set it to heli mode and call it mSR. Then bind it to your heli in the normal way. Job done

Remember the 1 servo selection mode.

Set the expo to about +30% - should help you calm down the heli. Hmm... yeah and have fun!

Easiest thing to do on the DX7 to get you started is to bind it as a Acro model.

If you want to have a play and set it up as a heli then use Heli mode and set the swash type as 3 Servos 90%.

As mentioned there are a few settings online for the DX6i you can try on the DX7 also.

I tend to just leave it on Acro unless I want to make it insane and change all the travel adjust up to 150%.
