    Thanks for the advice guys.
    i am now a FF9 Tx owner.
    Much better and easier to understand as a beginner.
    Just need to explain to the wife where that cash went she thought she had to spend on our new bathroom .......................

          Only issue with the FF9 is it's latency, slowest tranny ever. Not that this would bother a beginner ....

            Having now used a Spektrum Tx I can definitely say I noticed the difference (a lot, actually) - that said, I still fly with my trusty FF7 and really don't have an issue with it.

            80 milliseconds is 0.08 of a second, which is still exceptionally fast - even by slow standards

            I'm looking forward to the DX9 - that may well be my next Tx.
