New member with trex 450 sport

Hi all, just saying hello, just bought and built the 450 sport and must say im impressed with the design of it, not flown yet as ive been too busy and it needs setting up properly, just bought some more batterys and am hoping to fly at the weekend

Is this your first heli? If so:

- get some training gear and fit it
- get someone to check it over before you fly
- buy a simulator - it will save you money in the long run

Totally agree with Martin here, Sim sim and more sim. When you're bored with the sim then sim again

I had a blade 400 a couple of years ago but only had it hovering before i sold it, a friend of mine is setting the 450 up tomorrow so will hopefully give it a go.

Not sure on the training gear, had it on the blade as i was taking off and landing on grass and I'm pretty confident at takeoff and landing its just the flying of it in general i need to work on.

Going to give it a go off concrete and see how i go.
