Yeah definitely less hassle. Good choice on the 450 anyway!

Yes Rob. Check out Ribble Valley Model Helicopter Club. I'm the guy you need to get in touch with if you want to come down and have a look at our club.

We are a dedicated heli club with a private field as Backdraft says and also have an indoor venue that we fly small electric helis in on Friday nights.

Get in touch if you want to come over.

Yep. The 450 will be fine outside although you may be better coming along to the Friday night club. We fly in a huge warehouse on Friday night club nights where most of our members fly 250 and 450 size helis.

You can email me through our website if you wish.

I just like the colour scheme matching When I get back from my hols i'm going to have a trip over to Blackburn. I just want the once over before I actually use it. But before I use it, the phoenix sim and TX are teh next things on my list...The MSR is helping me grasp the orientation etc which I think will help me, but I dont expect it to fly like it

The green paddles are lighter than standard (black) raptor ones, however I don't know if they are lighter or heavier than standard Trex 450 paddles...

Lighter paddles mean faster cyclic response and inherantly less stability which is not normally a good thing when you're learning. Best bet is probably get some flybar weights if you want to keep the green look then you can remove them as you improve.

If you go along to the club then there will be people who you can ask about this stuff directly.
