Just starting to build my new Trex450SE and I am just a bit unsure whether I need to threadlock the ends of the control linkages. If I don't what stops them from working loose?
It's normally only necessary to threadlock metal to metal parts, that said, you can't be too careful! However, I would not threadlock linkage rods, I think you'll find them pretty tight when you try to screw them on and I dont think there is any way whatsoever that they'll work themselves loose!
Don't use threadlock on any plastic to metal joints, the threadlock can cause the plastic to become brittle, there's enough friction to stop the pushrods turning in the ball links anyway.
