hi today was my 1st small flight, as a beginer i was waiting for better weather as in the past i killed two servos without even getting of the ground. well today i did some small hops with no damage (so far) also i learned to put new gears in servos lol. seriously im very happy it was at last airbourne even if only briefly. basicly im trying to learn how to hover.

Well I don't know what the weather is like where you are, but its pretty dam windy here.
Learning to fly helis and wind don't mix very well
So unless you've got a nice large indoor space to use, I would hang on and wait for a nice calm day for your next flight tbh.
Just a suggestion

Well done for those first steps. What are you flying?
If you can get the heli up out of its "ground effect", it will be easier to control than closer to the ground. Higher than the rotor diameter should be fine.

nice one- wind can make things a little too stimulating at the start- well worth waiing for calmer conditions- cheaper too
