    Get a .50 then.

Plenty to choose from, how much you want to spend?

    600N
    Outrage velocity 50
    TZ Frenzy v2

    etc...

.50 size are good but the .90 size aint much bigger in terms of storage and for me just has more power and doesnt seem to struggle as much as a bigger engine.
T-rex 700 le all the way for me.

How much do you want to spend...;-)

Also, what radio do you have? Nitro's tend to need 7 channels.

600Ns are very popular and reasonably priced - about £900 to get one in the air if you already have a TX.

But then you'll need fuel, a starter, etc. And they're more expensive to fix when they break. I think £100 is a typical repair cost.

For an inexpensive 50 that flies nicely, is easy to build etc. I'd say the Ely.Q Vision Ultimate. I have a Raptor as well but would recommend the Ely.Q because it is very similar in some ways but very simple / low parts count, lightweight and you can sometimes pickup a spare airframe 2nd hand very cheap for some reason.

Another possibility would be the Knight Sport as they were being blown out very cheap recently. I'm not sure if you can still get them for the known-down prices though as they may be all gone now.

          There's always the Raptor 30 / 50 V2 or Titan.

I am considering selling one or both of my Raptors (I have a 30 and a 50) for the
sole reason that I have too many helis.

It depends on things like, where are you going to fly? how much of a budget do you have for both repairs and fuel (90 size heli's drink fuel really quick)!!!

Personally both my flying level and money mean that a 50 size heli is perfect for me. I started with a raptor 30 which seen me through 3 years of flying but i really wanted a 50 size so bought a 600 im March this year, i just need to get more stick time now

If nitro is the way, no need to go to a 90, be much better off getting a 50, cheeper to build, run and repair.
Obvious choices out there ranging in price are the Vision Ultimate, vision Comp, Raptor 50 V3, Trex 600, Compass 3D+, Frenzy V2 to name a few.
My money would go on a Trex 600 or to save a few pounds a similar heli like the Flasher 600.
All in all you will find the bigger heli easier to fly, alot better in wind etc, more stable, but obviously more costs to repair if you smack it.

if i was you i would go for the outrage velocity 50, all i can say is wow what an awsome heli, best heli i have had to date, i friend off mine had ago yesterday with it and said it beat his trex 600 hands down, plus the spares are on par if not cheaper than align and the build quality is brilliant you will not be dissapointed, and anyone who owns one will say the same,, the tail is also a work off art

well as i can understand the .50 size is the same lenth as a 600 trex.

which is good enough ,well more than a good size for me.

TBH if i get one now my budget is 100-200 .

i know now that theyre 10 times more expensive than electrics to repair so im having seconds thoughts about it.But i can always save and be patient and until i have saved enough then buy 1 quality heli.

i dread to ever having to build it from kit as i dont have any clues about nitro helis. so id rather get a RTF version preferably second hand to start off with and go on from there.

but im still thinking about the initial costs and repair costs plus running costs

If you are still learning must be a raptor, best learning heli, if you can fly it's got to be a velocity. as said before reasonably priced part lovely to build and feel really good in the air.

Trex 600 and Trex 700 are both superb helis. Obviously, the 600 will be cheaper to "run", in terms of fuel usage, parts, etc. There is not a great deal of difference in size.

Whilst I'm no expert flyer myself, and I too expanded my fleet pretty damned quickly, if I were you I would stick with what you have got and get the set-up of those helis mastered.

I don't mean this in a nasty way cos we all have to start somewhere and learn. However, from your previous threads, you appear to me to be not even close to mastering the fundamentals of building and setting up a heli. Perhaps you should get this mastered before buying something that could reasonably easily kill you (or a bystander) if not set up correctly.

I'm not wishing to be mean, just stating my opinion...and I mean no offence.

yeah i get your point but like i said "im still think about it" and not sure if its the right machine i desire. but bigger YEs !! yes im still a beginner and i think overall your right as i do tend to rush into things which i dont think theres anything wrong in that. just that il waste more time and money...

i would buy an align heli as i feel their helis are the best!
