  • Help! Honey Bee CP2

Hi all... This is my first post on these forums.. and I'm a noob to the RC Heli scene.

I was recently bought a Honey Bee CP2 and am having problems. I have setup my copter and everything seems fine. The controls all seem to respond fine but the problem I am having is my copter simply won't lift off. I power it up and the rota blades seem to get up to speed nicely but there simply doesn't appear to be enough lift for the thing to rise.. I've powered up the copter to such a point that the red light flickers on the control unit (presumably indicating that I'm feeding it too much power) but nothing happens. I if I play with the control's whilst the copter is on the ground I can get it to move about. Can anyone give me any pointers as to what I may be doing wrong.

Fair point... I haven't actually touched the blades.. they're on the same way round as they were when I got the heli out of the box.

Not enough pitch on the blades?

          Isn't the Honey bee a re-badged Twister 3D?
If so check which sense your collective is working in!
I am in that hell-hole currently!

i had an identical problem to the one your having now so i took it to a experieneced flyer at my club to look at. He did get it flying and he said that it was a duff batery. i thought this was a bit strange because it was a brand new battery out of the box.

being a total noob at the time i took all his advice and instead of buying a new battey off him just sold it on ebay

now i really want it back just to play around with indoors
