Advice on this problem please?

I took my Belt CP v2 to work with me again yesterday to have a hover session in our garage workshop, I did exactly that last saturday and everything was fine, it hasn't been used since but yesterday, the tail was wagging really badly. I couldn't resolve it with the gain and it became very unstable, so much so, the heli would just suffelnly spin around one way then the other! After a couple of near misses I decided not to fly it anymore.

Once I had landed it, I could see the LED on the gyro was flickering and the servo twitching. I tried stopping and unplugging the battery to see if the gyro would reset and each time I tried, it seemed to be fine with a constantly lit LED, but then after a few seconds of a hover it started again, this was why I decided not to risk it anymore.

Can anyone tell me what the problem might be, is it the Gyro itself or something else that is causing this?
What baffles me is that it was fine last week and nothing has changed?

Once you have reset it, try moving all the wires from the servo to the gyro, and from the gyro to the receiver. Looks like a loose connection to me.

Is it a stand alone gyro on that ??, I can't really tell. If it looks like its gone bad, I have a cheap HH gyro (looks like a 401, but isn't) which I could chuck in the post when I send you those spare bits next week. It's not the best gyro in the world, but it worked ok on the review model it came with.

It's the stock Gyro on the belt CP. Thanks for the offer, I will let you know if I am able to resolve it or not.
