  • which glue

    Hi

I'm trying to repair some crash damage on my mCX and I'm finding CA (superglue) to be useless. It bonds my fingers to the parts brilliantly, but not to each other!

anyone have any recommendations as to which glue would be good for this?

If it makes any difference I'm trying to glue a broken skid upright and the bit that holds the flybar in place.

    thanks

certainly would'nt reccomend glueing anything to do with the flybar disaster waiting to happen the skid should be glueable with medium ca but i dont think it will last long you could try glueing a thin strip of plastic over it

          I use various:
          90 second epoxy
          5 minute epoxy
          30 minute epoxy

depending on the job, all bought cheaply off Ebay.

Yes, that sort of stuff which you mix. Quite a few different types though.

yeah, I have a loctite double-tube one which is useless, which is odd, because I always thought araldite was THE best glue ever.

Don't have a problem with the Araldite 90sec or 5min, and the other is a US Quik Cure epoxy. good for the stronger more permanent jobs.

dont whant to sound stupid here but the cost of all this epoxy must be more than the bits your trying to fix
