    Great read mate - I still remember those feelings myself! Certainly is a rush when you first get a 'proper' little heli up off the ground and feel as though you might actually be in control

    ever thought of submitting an article to the BMFA mag? Your writing style if very entertaining

    Who needs dumb thumbs when you have dumb fingers!

      Thanks for the encouragement everyone. Really glad you enjoyed reading it. I was a little wary of posting more than a couple paras but needed to blurt it all out before the memory of it fades.

      Second confession. I got my nose and tail muddled up. I meant to say, I was hovering tail in by the end of the first day (now corrected). Apologies if the faux pas made anyone feel inadequate :embarrassed: Looks like I will need a proof reader before submitting anything to the BMFA.

      Obviously I don't know any better but the Belt seems stable enough. I started with mahoosive expo and minuscule D/R but have gradually wound the values down to a more normal 10%, 85%. Currently thinking about insurance and finding a place to fly with more room.

        flying a belt cp 2 is hard ..just coz you can fly a a simulator and msr dosemt mean you can fly 6 channel heli....its totally different..

        I dont like training gear i think youll progress slower. .... they cause me to crash more you just gotta learn to hover at about 6 feet first mate is my advise to you.

          the belt cp 2 is very unstable and hard to fly... I cannabilised mine to a copter x recently.
          I think its the hardest heli to fly!!!!!
