Yes it is. I think the Trex cost me about £1000 to complete, not including the DX7. Of course in between was the Blade 400, Phoenix, CX3, mSR.....

Still...it's all good. I also seem to have a spare (new) 50 Hyper, so considering another Nitro bird or whether I should just flog it.

If you can afford to hold on to it its always worth having a spare to stick in for when your bearings need changing.

Luckily I can afford it. Getting it finished was also due to a (small) improvement in personal finances.

But the itch to start building something is getting quite strong, seeing as I did most of the build such a long time ago...but of course it's all about the flying. I think the engineer in me just likes the tinkering with bits and pieces.

I''ve used Skyline for about 4 years now and although I have a lms quite near
by the time Ive jumped in the car gone to it only to find out they hav'nt got what I need
Its just as cheep to phone skyline and get what I want next day.
Plus of course they know what they are talking about as you found out and are very helpful
