  • Seeking advice please

    Hi

New to RC helis have got a Mini titan with 401 gyro futaba rear servo. I crashed it at the weekend have now bolted new bits to it. But when I spooled it up it was in reverse so I switched the wires on speed controller which has worked. But now when I throttle up the swash plate lowers rather then lift which of course wont let me hover. Any ideas would be welcome please.

        Firstly, DON'T PANIC.
        Secondly, DON'T PANIC.

Now, take a deep breath and calm down So, we know you have a Mini Titan and a Futaba 6EX which has now been reset to default.

So, what exactly is happening when you plug in now? Can you get the servos to move at all? If not you may find the throttle channel is reversed so the ESC won't arm as it is not seeing zero throttle. But tell us what you see and then we can work through it

              Hi Guys

I live in cheshire. So far I have read the trans manual and got the throttle working all servos move together up and down. But now any right stick inputs wont work IE aileron etc i am poking around in the dark and completely lost as to why it reversed in the first place. Still no speed controller being a newbie it,s quite hard to understand the instructions and what everything means thanks to you all for your help. Done lots of different hobbies this is the most frustrating one to date. Took me six months and 2 helis just to get confident hovering.

NB When I put power to the heli I no longer get the bleeping sound either.

I'm not conversant with Futaba tx's I'm afraid
But if the swash is moving correctly with the collective control (Left stick up and down) you probably need to have a look at the throttle curve which will also work on the left stick up and down, but is a separate setting to that of the collective pitch curve.
Also, make sure the throttle and throttle trim are all the way down, otherwise the ESC may not arm when plugged in.
As for the right hand stick, that may be down to the swash mix settings.
