clubs in birmingham

hello guys, im looking for a heli club in birmingham, im near longbridge / northfield i found midland helicopter club and gave them a ring the bloke i spoke too was nice but they are about an hour from here and i would like to go more than once a week club sounded briliant though

other that that i found alcester model club

i dont mind going to either but didnt want to join somewhere to find i have a club round the corner

any ideas, thanks in advance

check BMFA club listings that might show up local clubs,theres one at sutton park i know of!

Himbleton Helicopter club is anly about 20 minutes from Longbridge, near Droitwich - Himbleton Remote Control Helicopters

Hi, im a beginner as well, Ive looked at a few clubs and whilst it is 30mins from me, I live in Alvechurch, just near Northfield, I have chosen the Avondale Club they fly at Long Marston Airfield, fly 365 days a year, BMFA club and really friendly. I have not flown there yet as I have just joined, but one of their members have already said he would train me up. have a look and if your interested pop along on a Sunday and ask for Mike Searle, he is really helpfull and will go through what it is all about. Think I might join midland from what I can make out it's about 40 min from me and it sounds v good
