Should I sell my toubled Trex or hang on to is

Hi all,

Got a Trex 450xl over a year ago from Ebay. It was a RTF kit. I've attempted to fligh it twice, both times resulting in disaster.

Rob has kindly been trying to take car of it for me, and I've spent a bit of money on it to try and get it in the air with no luck.

I'm at a level now where I could fly the Trex with no problems, and its the size I want as I can get some stick time in the back garden without having to haul my lovely Sceadu up to the field every once in a while.
Thing is I'm not sure whether I'll be better off hanging onto it and getting it sorted, or whether to treat it as a complete lemon and shift it on. If I do move it on I will be wanting another Trex size electric Heli and would want to know what you guys recommend.

Because of the money spent so far and getting no where, the missus is watching me like a hawk on spending, and our daughter is more important right now so thats limiting when I can fly the big 50 size up the field.

What should I do guys.

Btw could do with Rob mentioning what he thinks is the problem so you guys can advise.

How much would you want for it, and what comes with it etc.

Can't believe I'm actually interested - I hate electrickery helicopters - they're the Devil's work!

Not sure really I'd need to ask for a bit of advice on that.

Robgt has done all the extra work on it so knows it better than me.

Gotta admit I'm a bit clueless, want me to take some pics?

Just spoken to Rob and he believes the main problem I've had with it is a crap gyro and some naff blades I'm using. Also the packs I've used are a bit rubbish.
