Flight Times.

I'm not sure that any model of heli has drastically different flight times -I'd say it's got more to do with the individual setup and flying style. It will depend a lot on the battery/throttle curve/pinion/gear mesh/belt tightness etc.

am ordering some longgmax 2250 batts tonight so might get longer than the 1800 i currently have
i dont know how reliable/accurate my readings are because i have only got the standard e-flight charger but a decent charger is my next buy for sure!

A decent charger is a MUST Matt!! It will look after the balance of your cells, let you know what you have been taking out of your batt for the flight, and give you concise charging info.
I can smell a warming credit card already!!!

I have a cellpro 10S & 4s but i can honestly say my Graupner 5s with a prolux 2-4s balancer is also spot on.

ok i am mistaken
the info i put up at an earlier date was well very wrong!
have been flying today and have just checked the batts with a voltage checker and the cells have about 3.8 volts in each
srry bout that but at least now i know im ok lol

Here's JPC flying his old 450 for almost 10 min with a 2100 pack. It's geared for a low headspead & he's got a low thro curve & it's still a capable sports flying set up.

If I went with electric heli, what would I need to get started ?

I can't believe how much I have forgot (not that I knew much to start with) and how much choice there is now.
Electric heli ... I have no idea of where to begin.
