Cant quite think why no one does this but does anyone know of a way of making the traditional four ping pong balls trainer gear into a quick release version - after flying I like to put my machine on a shelf for display but pulling the carbon fibre rods out of the tie wraps every time is a bit duff. Its not a lot of time but I thought by now someone would have made some snap on fasters or something to attach the rods to the skids.

I used to secured mine with good old fashioned rubber bands. It held the gear a treat and also the bands gave a little on heavy landings.

I CAN hover! Its just that I fly over grass a lot and I find the training wheels save tripping up problems. Releasable ties are Ok but not a very elegant solution! I sort of imagined some outfit woud have done a clip by now that just snapped on and off. I shall see what I can invent......MicroMold Lark kit built (1985) - Not succesful
