Hi there. All I'll say is that is not so tricky to do. Perhaps it's best that you wait until you have your 500 and ask again? At that time I'm sure you'll get a bunch of help.

Watch some of the setup videos made by 'Finless' which are on Helifreak.com They should help you understand pretty much the whole build/set up process.

I would say, that if your a begginer, dont let the manual scare you, it isnt user friendly for begginers, as stated in a previous post look at finless bob's videos there very helpful. If there are certain points that you dont understand ask here, you will get lots of advice

        Good luck

Not sure here, but I think the OP is asking how to set up his DX7 for use with Phoenix as well as his Trex maybe.

            Would help, but I haven't got a DX7 only a DX6i

If your plan is, to set the Tx and a Trex 500 up on phoenix with the same settings as you will use for real and get some practice, then don't bother.

Set the Tx up for Phoenix, and fly something bigger and more stable at least to start. Phoenix is not 100% true to life and tweaking minor settings here and there in an attempt to replicate exactly how 'your' heli flies is a futile exercise.

I've just gone through the process of setting my DX7 for my T-Rex 500 and would also recommend watching the finless bob videos on heli freak. Explaining in a thread could be some what confusing and long winded so here's the links (think you have to join heli freak to watch them):

Phoenix is great to practice and learn. One of the best money savers you can get!
