Looking for a club near Portsmouth

After spending many hours crashing in Phoenix, I get the feeling that if I want to learn to fly properly I am going to have to join a club and get outside.

Can anyone recommend a friendly, electric heli friendly, club within around 10 miles of Portsmouth, Havant or Chichester. I checked a few web pages but the ones that looked interesting have closed their memberships.

Alternatively, anyone have any thoughts about paying for an instructor.

British Model Flying Association - Clubs

Most clubs renew membership at the end of the year, so now is the most likely time you may get in. If the local clubs are full, you may have to consider traveling a few extra miles. I know pilots from Kent who fly with clubs in Essex.
