Hi Stuart, welcome to the mad house dude, hope you enjoy your stay! Been a bit Bitchy just of late, but with the lighter evenings coming, people will get outside and start breathing some nitro fumes and start to love each other all over again

Anyway, as said above, a DX6i is a good cheap starting point, and the Pheonix is a great sim. If you want to go a little more expensive, go for the DX7. Keep an eye open for a used one, although they dont stay around for long!

Good luck with your new hobby, and if you have any questions, ask away, there is always some one around who can help you out.

      Cheers,Rob

Hi Stewart and welcome to the forum m8

Your best bet is to look out for an E Flite LP5DSM. They often come on to the S/Hand market when people upgrade to the DX range, and can be bought fairly cheaply.

Oh yeah, and its a pretty good tx for little money and works perfectly with Phoenix

If you can afford a little more then the DX6i is perfect.
