colco lama 5

I bought my son a second hand calco lama 5 charged all batteries.Turned TX on ,plugged chopper in.It flew for approx 2mins and then "died".Unplugged chopper battery -replugged and the same occured.No response from TX.It's has 40meg crystals-will this effect?Any ideas please

it sounds more like a duff / overdischarged battery.
