  • Mini Titan Belt

I have got a titan and the belt will not stop slipping ?
I have changed the belt and the new one still slips, it seams to slip only on the front gear. the belt is tight and is OK for about 20 seconds then starts to slip?
The ajustment as not changed (I marked the boom to check)

It's more than likely me doing something wrong

    Thanks for any help

If you have the original plastic front gear its probably slipping on the shaft,if it is that I would go for the metal upgrade.

You may have to remove the tailboom and remove the gear and twist the two gears with your fingers.

You said it is ok for about twenty seconds before it starts to slip, the gear may be tight when its cold but as it starts to slip it may warm up and start slipping more,

Hope that makes sense, this happened on mine a couple of years ago because the belt sprocket was slipping on the shaft, it started off as 'kicks' and flicks from the tail when I was flying.

While you have got it apart I would fit the tailshaft upgrade too as the same thing can happen to that one too.
