Sorry if I drift back to the subject, ie the use of 72 Mhz . A manufacturer's development license is available from the DTI to bona-fide manufacturers - also it's widely used in the UK for communications purposes, so why anyone would want to use it and risk getting shot down beats me.

I ride a BMW, a Honda & a Yamaha. I have IAM cert & M/C Cardington Supervising Instructor ticket. CBT through to Advanced.

I drive a Volvo. Uncalled for Biggles . The biggest menace is bikers who think they can ride fast & well - but can't, and any car driver who's ego is bigger than his plonker.

Volvo V70. Drives great, goes well, extremely comfortable, can carry a complete aircraft carrier in the boot (incl crew) and I'd rather be in that in a smash than some of the tin boxes some people call cars.

Now get rid of teenies in their souped up ( miniscule engine size) hatches who kill hundreds of innocent people every year (4 died in a local road here just before Christmas going off on a bend at 100mph & hitting a tree) who cannot drive for toffees, and that would be making our roads safer for sure.

Me too and proud of it. Bmer drivers have an unfair reputation I think, its the fools in 318's thinking they are 330's that let us down. Compnay car drivers, the only thing worse is an PlAstra/ Reectra/ MondayO driver..... ooooh here we go.....

What lets drivers down is total unawareness and lack of respect on the roads
It seems to me, as I drive around, that very few people indicate anymore - when was that rule brought in?
I constantly see people driving with their fog lights on - it's blinding driving behind those oblivious idiots when there's no fog about.

The problem isn't what car you drive, it's who's behind the wheel
And lately, it seems to me, there's way too many people who shouldn't be there...
