    72mhz am i right in saying that is illigal to use in this country???????? just having a debait with a mate about a copter he wants from hong-kong i say its illegal and he says not whos right guys!!!

              As long as his transmitter is on 35MHz, he can buy a 35MHz receiver

                  depends on the model. some of the cheap stuff have the rx built in so you cant change to 35mhz without changing the whole 4 in 1 unit.

                    is it an imported optic 6, i noticed on flea bay that someone from hong kong was selling FF8 controllers on 40mhz advertising that they can be used for helicopters and planes in this country.

                            Its not as if a TV detector van is gonna nab ya or anything and i dont think the old bill or council go round with frequency scanners

                              35mhz only for planes and helicopters.

                              40mhz ground vechiles

                              72mhz Taxi cab radios !! not for R/C models of any kind!
