    Descend at about -4 degrees of pitch - thats a fast enough descent and the blades will keep spinning.
    At about 10 foot off the floor, increase pitch to spin up the blades some more - just a couple of degrees positive should do that. To slow the descent again, add more pitch (at least hover amounts... approx 6 degrees) and if you have enough headspeed left at the end, you should be able to softly land the heli.

      I'll definately give it a go again when I get back on the sim.

      I am interested how much the sim does actually help in the real world.
