  • Mini Titan Belt Tension

    Hi,

I am building a Mini Titan and I'm guessing the belt running through the boom needs to be tensioned? Can someone tell me how much tension it should be under.

    Thanks

The tension should be so that you can move the belt from one side half way cross to the other side.I hope that helps.

      Thanks Heliboy,

that is about how tight it is, seemed about right but I thought I would get advice.

One more question, should I lubricate the belt? if so what is best?

      Thanks

Some people use a silicon based oil or even Mr Sheen which is silicon based and anti-static - never felt the need on my MT and left the belts au-naturalle
