  • Greetings - Newbie

    Greetings folks.

    Quick hello from me.

Live in Washington - gonna visit the local club on Sunday i hope weather depending.

Rekindled an interest i held for ages as a kid, got a FP heli, then bought a CP one.

Struggling to get it to fly, just think it needs a tweak here and there.

Anyhoo, off to read the forum - looks some good info.

Hi me too, my break was 25 years, this electric stuff is great I got a mini titan to re learn on, and still not had change to get out there with it. Not really in a hurry to as the Phoenix sim I have is so bloody good, so will perfect my nose in inverted hover before trying to break the real thing. Trouble is that now I’ve tried the Synergy on the sim I want one!

If you can fly a Mirco Mold Lark you can fly anything! I’m starting to enjoy this!

About the same length of time, my first flyable heli was a baron 20, no gyro and very unstable, still as you say its a good grounding. ive just got the pheonix sim yesterday, its fantastic, I love it, only thing there are no raptors on it and ive just bought through ebay a raptor for the ic side of things plus im on the lookout for a T-Rex I fancy one of those for the electric side, ive had a little play on one and their fun.

The only leccy one ive got at the mo was what pulled me back in a real cheapy a honey bee king, I will say in its defence it does fly very well in calm conditions.
              All the best

I believe Raptors are on the way for the Phoenix sim.
In the meantime, use the Buzzard - it's the same thing more or less.
There's the knight too, of course
                Cheers,

Cheers, I sent off an email to phoenix straight away recommending raptors like they would take any notice of me, but one more voice may hurry it along.

I'll give the buzzard a go
