  • Carbon Blades

I ordered a set of carbons recently that were supposed to be the correct type but when they arrived I found that the root attachment isn't as thick as the originals and there's a big gap in the blade grips. Would they be ok with some sort of shims top and bottom or should I not use them?

Thanks, can you get shims for the purpose? If not, any recommendations on what to use? If I used normal washers I think I'd need about a dozen.

i hve bought some from revolution models before for my blade 400

          CFC washers (4) Ref: 3358

          Price: £0.85 (£0.98 Including VAT at 15%)

Due to the supply problem with the original Blade 400 main blades we have manufactured some CFC washers so that the vast majority of Trex 450, Twister Storm, GL450 main blades can be used. These blades have a 5mm root whereas the Blade 400 is 6mm

Check out the thickness required and see if an old credit card will do.
