  • mSR for a noob?

would I be silly to go for an mSR over an mCX as a first heli? I've done about 4 charges on a CX2, but that doesn't really count.

    (need something smaller)

I would say so yes.... always gonna be a bit more twitchy than a contra but i learned on a buzzfly which was mental!!

Will teach you good cyclic control and then a bigger heli will feel really stable further down the line

      Depends what your looking for.
Are you unhappy with the CX2 ? Is it too easy for you ? Is it too large for your flying space ? And why doesn't it count ?
Having only put 4 packs through it doesn't seem long enough for you to get to know the heli very well.

I like it, it's just too big.

Ok, If a lack of flying space is your problem then I would go for the mCX. Its perfect for small spaces, and its a lot of fun
The mSR is a very stable little heli and can be flown gently in a small room, but its far better off being unleashed in a nice big space. like a gym or school hall etc.

Either way they are both great helis, so the choice is yours really

thanks guys. for the sake of my marriage, I should probably get something more sedate, so will go for an mCX I think.
