Can anyone please help?

I bought a simulator for 20quid on ebay and it was a waste of money, but it come with a Tx 6 channel ppm from reality craft. So i now have Phoenix simulator but cant get the Tx to work with the Phoenix Sim, does anyone know how, as it wont register with it?

or i could try this option

I own a Century Razor CX2.4G which does have a small Din lead, but i need the Dongle to connect to computer, i dont know what lead/dongle to buy on ebay to work with Phoenix Sim as the Tx is covered in Century stickers so dont know who really made it?

This weather is killing me as off work until monday and cant go fly, so please help?

Only the genuine Pheonix dongle will work with Phoenix. The dongle is the licence to use the software. If you do manage to get any other dongle to work, you will be breaking the piracy laws

There is an adaptor available that converts the small jack plug on the Phoenix lead to a din plug. But I wouldn't know if it will work with your tx or not.
I had a Walkera tx with that sort of connector, and that was a no go with Phoenix

You can use the reality craft one, but you have to modify it, I have done this and use it when I go offshore.

you have to put a 3.5mm socket on the tx and connect to the blue and red wires on the pcb.

to use you plug the Phoenix into the usb ant into the tx, you also plug the tx usb in to give it power then config in phoenix.

If you want to do this I can take photos of mine. and a clearer discription how to do it.

Phoenix comes with the dongle lead and has a phono socket on it. If you take the dongle lead and tx to your local Hoby shop they most likley will have an adaptor for it.

sorry they seem a bit out of focus, if you open the tx, you will see from the usb lead a red and blue wire, the center connection of the socket goes onto red connection and blue to the outer. it is straight forward but you still need a proper copy of phoenix and dongle lead. In mine I had trouble with the blue so it is tee'd off the pcb.
