right update time firstly sorry its been awhile but thing have been a little slow mostly down to money... as always. ok from last time i spoke the raptor canopy has been finished by steve (ta). i took the raptor to the club having changed the dampers thinking all will be good, not so much upon dave putting in to the hover it became very obvious that either the blades were very bent or the tracking was completly out.
after dave and norman from my club ajusting the the pitch rates on the head for what i think took an hour, small adjustment hover small adjustment hover and so on. ot was becoming more apparent that the blades were worpped, i personally didnt think this could happen, but then they were woodies, (wooden blades with just a plastic film over the top).

so another half month goes by, witch brings me to thursday night/friday morning....
0715 am i logged on to the computer much to the amazement of my wife and ordered.
    1. sab 600mm main rotor blades (glass fibre)
    2. fast fueler (manual hand fuel pump for filling)
    3. rubber canopy gromets (for the newly ppanted canopy)
    4. an extention bar for my dx7 (essential)

i put this on over night order from fastlads(thanks guys). so it all arrived this morning. i was like a kid in a sweat shop all this SHINEY stuff blades look really good.
the blades went on really quickly but as steve found out the rubber gromits were a little more challenging lol

on the off chance and a quick pm to one of the club members i went to the club and to say they chucked me in to the deep end was an understanding... the phase what are you waiting for !!! springs to mind.. so with everyone behind me i throttled up put it in to a small hover, by the way this is the part where pheonix has paid for itsself. with the wind blowing up small adjustment on the head for a whole tank. it was then that the rain started so we cuddled up under some brollies and let it past... then more peer pressure from steve to do it again... flight two started badly really i seemed to fighting the tail, even with the gyro on heading hold the tail was moving round but i kept it in the air and run the tank low then put her to bed all in all a good days flying more updates as they happen
