  • MSR problem - right stick, left - right not working?

    Howdy,

I have bought an MSR and I have a problem already, the right stick from left to right is not working at all. From looking I think that the left hand servo is knackered, is it possible to replace just the servo, rather than the 5-1?

Any help would be much appreciated.

    Cheers guys.

Thanks guys, I have tried re-binding to my DX5e (mode 2), but no luck, I have also investigated further and the motor on the left server seems to be spinning (when I move the wheels off each other), but not moving the arm anywhere, plus, when I move the right lever, left and right, nowt happens!

I bought is second hand from BMFA, so I dont think I have any come back unfortunately.

Can just the servo be replaced, or is it the whole 5-1 that needs to be done?

EFLH1066 : BLADE MICRO CX REPLACEMENT SERVO UNIT
              Replacement Servo Mechanics: BMCX

              Price: £5.99 £7.04 Including VAT at 17.5%

              Quantity:

Ok, just found this, I guess this would fix it, but is there someone I could get to fit it, as I cant solder and dont fancy mucking up the 5-1, now I have seen they cost over 50 squid!

If someone could do it, I could give them some beer tokens if that sounds fair?

Is there a link to this? Could come in handy for me, as I am good at ruining kit.

Thanks for the link, mate. If that's Newquay in Cornwall, if you send the heli & new actuator up to me, I don't mind having a go - I can solder, BTW, I was an engineer for 25 years. Up to you, but I don't mind trying.

They look the same, Liam, and it would make sense for them to use the same unit, it cuts costs for production, stock handling, etc. I think it's worth a shot.
