    It's Coming Together

    Hi It's me again.... with the questions.

    Well I took a lot of advice from here.... Have just brought a E-Flite Blade 400 from e-bay..... Never used ... good price.

    I now need to buy the radio and receiver.... my choice is , again from here, The Spektrum DX6i with receiver. Phoenix etc etc.

    My question is..... for the other bits and pieces I need is it safe to buy from the many Honk Kong/China addresses you see on Ebay..... I would rather buy from a local shop source and build up a relationship... however I spend a good deal of my year in Spain and it is not very convenient.

    Have any of you been burnt on these sites??

      Just bought a charger from china delivered in 9 days no problems, this is the 3rd purchase from china with no problems, I always check feedback, but theres always a risk with post. Of course its better to buy localy but sometimes price makes your mind up for you.

        I have ordered a fair bit from HK, usualy the wait for the order to arrive is the worst part.

          Yeah, I ordered some 450 parts from HobbyKing and it's going on two weeks now. I guess maybe you can pay more for faster delivery but basically you may have a bit of a wait.

            Stuart, you mentioned you are after a DX6i ???

            Take a look at the 'For Sale' forum mate, two of those transmitters have been up for sale at great prices recently, I suspect one may still be for sale too...

              MrBusagain..... Thanks for the heads up on the DX6i...... I do not have the privileges yet to be able to offer this person any money.... shame as he has had to bump it twice... I would be interested.... is there a way to contact him w/out breaking forum rules???
