Sanwa Reciever and Futaba TX...

I'm guessing I need to change the reciever for my Trex from the Sanwa to a Futaba if I want to fly again? As I've had to use a Futaba Reciever in the Evo 50 and take the JR out, which btw I'll be selling as is of no use now.

Just to add to this. Is there any way that I can use the following reciever...
JR 70RS (Reference #1995)
JRC70RS35 : RS70 Slimline PLL Synthesised 7ch PPM Receiver
RS70 Slimline PLL Synthesised 7 Channel PPM Receiver. No Crystal Required. Size : 15x24x47mm

in my Trex and have it paired up to my FF7?

I dont know the answer to your question Cossie, I am sure someone will be able to assist, but if not, I may be interested in purchasing, I use JR and may well get the synth module, PM me once you have an answer from someone

Yeah that would be good. I'm finding the only way to sensibly fund the hobby right now, and justify the initial outlay is to sell EVERYTHING in the house we dont use lol

Oh and obviously selling what bits on the Heli I dont need or can't use.

You can use JR and Futaba equipment as long as the are NOT on PCM and they have they own brand crystals.

So Futaba TX and JR PPM RX are compatible as long as TX has a futaba Xtal and JR RX has JR Xtal on the correct frequencies

The same can be said about Sanwa too.

Well my Sanwa reciever uses a crystal so if I were to get an orange 70 crystal for my Futaba I could then fly my Trex again with the new FF7, yeah?

This wouldn't work with my Evo as the reciever, both the JR and the Futaba one I have in now are, I believe syn types which seek out your TX. Am I right here?
