  • Can you help with my contra rotatin heli?

Hi, I've been flying a Lama CX from Century UK for about three months now and in that time I've had a few crashes.

The last crash that I had has made the heli go round it circles as if I am moving the right stick clock wise, but keeps pointing the way I make it??

I've put a new main shaft in and new set of blades but had no results.

Any thoughts on whats going on and how to stop it?

Thank for you time and help
    Tim

Possibly the motor pinion meshing with the gear. Have you tried adjusting the "proportional" pot to balance the torque from the two rotors?

sounds like "toilet bowl effect" check that your flybar is free to swing in both directions and the linkage is nice and loose

There's 2 shafts. You say you've only replaced one. Is the other one straight?

Also, as Ron says, check the flybar is not restricted.

Could be TBE / toilet bowl effect. Had it o the CX3 and drove me nuts for days. Finally found it was the *(plastic) swash had split in half - not broken, just fallen apart. Clipped it back together again and all as new.........the cx3 is still made of glass though!

          Good luck.
