  • Spares package?

Could any of you guys suggest a sensible spares package for the Skylift to buy and keep in my flight box...just in case. I don't want to go fly somewhere (when we get some calm weather) and then have to take an early shower because I've broken something or something has fell off. Neither do I want to carry a boxful of parts that I'll never need...back in the old days of the Morley Hughes 300 I used to carry enough stuff to carry out a total rebuild in the field! (no wonder I've had two heart attacks....)

    Over to you...

I cant think of much major you would need with the heli to be honest, a suitable screw driver/hex tool some oil spare leads are handy some times, battery checker, maybe some shafts and blade sets would be about the most usefull suggestions i can think of.

That's good for a start...thanks for that. How about spare linkages...servo to swashplate, that sort of thing?

Better to just not take it outside if there's any sort of breeze at all. (Coaxes just cant handle it ) That way you probably wont need any spares because you just wont break it
But for indoors I have always found a few extra blades to be the most useful spares. (For those odd encounters with the telly etc )

ur welcome.. linkswouldn't hurt i guess, imho the way you will figure this out is the day you crash it, sorryi just mean you will soon find the parts that will likely break in any event then and so will be better prepared next time.
