Kyosho nexus, any good?

By todays standards, poor, very poor, especially the wire driven tail, which winds up under load and can cause problems with modern high response gyros.
You'll be able to learn on it, and it will do basic aerobatics, but thats about it.
The main problem you will face with it is reliability and spares availablility.Political Correctness is a doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical, liberal minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

No, no, no and no. My story, impulse buy, oh my God what a pile, ooh a Sceadu, nah mate it's never flown but make sure you leave me good feedback. Seriously leave well alone. Don't waste your hard earned on something that you can't get spares or help for. Buy a 600 sport from AVA hobbies and enjoy the hobby.Originally posted by jakegazzard View PostI am wanting to get a nexus, is it any good?

Look at the Align range, there will be something in the size/price range for you!Originally posted by jakegazzard View PostThanks guys, what heli should i get instead?
A trex 600 would be good for learning but more expensive as a smaller 450 to buy, setup, and repair, but on the + side a lot more stable and easier to fly/see.

Wont go wrong with any of the Align stuff or grab yourself the new raptor 50 3D which is also a good solid every day flyer (exactly what you need as a beginner)
Personally id stay clear of any of the kyosho stuff myself. Even there new models. The new helis are a pain in the ass for spares also.Last edited by Made2Fade; 21-11-2009, 09:49 AM.

Wish you luck in the Auction. If you manage to get this for £200 will be a bargain, but feel to get this heli with all the equipment and sim, you may have to stretch the budget a little more. It looks a good starter package anyway.Originally posted by jakegazzard View PostHi guys my budget is £200, my dad has bid on this rappy Raptor 30 Radio Controled Helicopter on eBay (end time 22-Nov-09 20:43:27 GMT)
