By todays standards, poor, very poor, especially the wire driven tail, which winds up under load and can cause problems with modern high response gyros.

You'll be able to learn on it, and it will do basic aerobatics, but thats about it.

The main problem you will face with it is reliability and spares availablility.
Political Correctness is a doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical, liberal minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

    Current kit

    Evo 50
    T-rex 500FG night setup.
    T-rex 700N pro
    T-rex 450 pro
    10CP
    Frankenstarter (dynatron)

spares availability is very poor as mentioned above!it would get you through the basics but would either have to be very very cheap or free!

No, no, no and no. My story, impulse buy, oh my God what a pile, ooh a Sceadu, nah mate it's never flown but make sure you leave me good feedback. Seriously leave well alone. Don't waste your hard earned on something that you can't get spares or help for. Buy a 600 sport from AVA hobbies and enjoy the hobby.

Look at the Align range, there will be something in the size/price range for you!
A trex 600 would be good for learning but more expensive as a smaller 450 to buy, setup, and repair, but on the + side a lot more stable and easier to fly/see.

Wont go wrong with any of the Align stuff or grab yourself the new raptor 50 3D which is also a good solid every day flyer (exactly what you need as a beginner)
Personally id stay clear of any of the kyosho stuff myself. Even there new models. The new helis are a pain in the ass for spares also.

Agree with the Raptor. Went the Compass route myself and had nothing but trouble with it and ended up with a 600 sport. Should have done it earlier

I take it that you are starting out in this hobby..

Main question to you should really be what your 'maximum' budget is going to be.

Wish you luck in the Auction. If you manage to get this for £200 will be a bargain, but feel to get this heli with all the equipment and sim, you may have to stretch the budget a little more. It looks a good starter package anyway.

                            Good Luck.
