Thanks. Sorry to sound dumb but can you adjust pitch as its a fixed pitch. Sorry, but if so how would i do it.

Sounds like its two things for me, your battery is goosed, or you have got no pitch,.
I have an old century hummingbird fp, and to increase the pitch on that you could heat where the main blades attach to the head up with a hair dryer, and then twist the blades, to increase the angle of the main blades.

      hope this helps

If the heli is new then send it back.
If it was bought second hand, I would suspect either the battery or the main motor is duff

apart from the above thoughts :-

check the motor connections to the controller :- you could have the main motor connector reversed rotating the blades in reverse. Also make sure the main and tail motors are on the right connectors

When i had this problem with the hb it was the blades that needed warming up then twisting to get it to lift

hmm could it also be the pinion on the motor is loose, tight enuff to turn the blades but when it gets any press from the light it starts slipping.

hi got one of these myself ,its the stock lipo it only has an output of 10c current draw which is not enough to lift of properaly. Upgrade lipo to 15c output or above and you will think its a diferent heli.
New to this and wish i could fly
