    i was with ade last weekend, and he said i should change my collective servo to a s3152 digital servo,

    just wondering what i should the rest of the servos be, on the tail i already a futaba 9254 servo,

    btw i havent got deep pockets i was thinking off 3151,s digital servos

    any thoughts?

    the 3152's are only £5 more per servo for an extra 2kg/cm of torque. I would shell out that little bit more for such a big difference imo.

        Do the 3152's run OK on 6V from or should they go on 5V (thinking about changing the 3000's on my TREX600 which has a 6V BEC) ?

          3152 arent really the problem its the tail servos that dont like it.

            The TREX600 BEC comes with a down regulator lead to 5.1V for the 9254 tail servo so not a problem there

              But you never said that before Ade replied.

                Not concerned about the tail servo - fairly common knowledge that the 9254's have a shortened life span at 6V. However there is ambiguity about some of the other Futaba servos eg the 3252 - the website gives specs for these at 4.8 and 6V http://www.futabarc.com/servos/digitalservos.html but on the servo box it only gives specs at 4.8V hence my enquiry about their use at 6V and my appreciation of Ade's practical experience

                  servos as they stand at the moment

                  tail= 9254
                  collective= 3152
                  aileron= 3152
                  elevator= 3152
                  throttle=3001

                  when the weather improves i take it out and hopefully see some difference in the raptor.
