Phoenix version

Looking to buy a Phoenix Sim at the weekend am i right in thinking the latest version is 1.02, just wondering if some shops will want to try an sell me an old stock version, and where is the best place to buy ?

I doubt you'll get 1.02 or soon to be 1.03 on CD yet so you'll just have to settle with old stock and download the update.

i got mine about three weeks ago and it was 1.02 on the disc

Got mine couple of days ago was the 1.02a version on cdrom,
i would`nt worry about the version you get on the disk as you can just download the update anyway,
And as there is a new version in the pipeline now you aint gonna be upto date what ever the shop has on the shelf

Whats the best gfx card to use for this sim my pc could do with a new one
It actualy runs better on my laptop

Mine was from Skyline, and it is 1.02.

Got the heli's sorted, this is fun !! I am pleased these are not the real thing otherwise this is going to get expensive !!!

Talking of graphics cards do you need a realy good one to get the best from this sim, ive got a middle of the road card is this good enough to make it look realistic ?

i'm running on board seems to be fine, i just make sure everything else is turned off and no smoke on the sim and it runs very well
