    hi all just change taiil boom on my df36.
    which not sure if i have the belt the right way,when i turn main rotor clockwise tail rotor turns clockwise is this correct. thanks martyn

    Not usually. Dont know the df36, but usually if the main rotor spins clockwise, the tail rotor should spin anticlockwise to negate the rotor effect, looking from the rh side of the machine .Rotor going clockwise will make heli try to spin nose left, so tail should try to make nose spin right, that is push the tail left. Look at the leading edges of the tail rotor, is it trying to push the tail left? If so fine, if not, the belt is on wrong way.

    Simpler way...if the leading edged of the main rotor go right, the tail rotor should spin the way of the leading edges too. Usually anticlockwise

    Don't think I've explained that well.!! But at least I tried!!!

      dude you have the twist in the belt the wrong way....main blades turn clockwise...and the tail anti-clockwise,...

      you have to realy play with the pitch and throttal curves on these heli,,,to get them flying tame....lol

      but once these r tamed...inthe settings great fun..

        Top tail rotor trailing edge points in the direction the nose will turn ( main rotor in clockwise direction)
