Hi guys

I've been hunting on the net for hours and cant seam to find a good model of T-Rex 450se.

Do any of you now where I can download one.

My wife is getting it for xmass for me.

I think she thinks it will save money in the long run.I'm not sure it will because I bound to try the raptor arnt I!!!

I bought xtr myself sometime ago.

I have been very happy with it, until I read that.

Is pheonix that much better then ? And in what way ?

I would say that they are very similar in a lot of ways. Reflex has it in the graphics department at the moment, but it shows on the loading times, where Phoenix wins hands down.
Phoenix does some things better than Reflex, and vice versa. That said, neither of them are perfect at everything they do.

In the current version of Phoenix, 1.02a, auto rotations are wierd, and not quite lifelike yet. Reflex does a better job here, but still not lifelike (too far the other way - too much headspeed left at the end).

Gravity is better in Phoenix than Reflex, but still not quite right yet.

Reflex has a tendency to "cut in" on some models when performing pie-dishes and that sort of manoeuvre, whereas Phoenix does not.

There are a few little things that are hard to put your finger on, but just feel better in Phoenix to me.

If you're just hovering around, you won't see much difference though, apart from the £50 still tucked safely in your wallet if you buy Phoenix instead of Reflex.

The phoenix team also seem to be totally on the ball. Updates keep coming out pretty quickly and their customer support is, by all accounts, second to none.

1.03a should fix most of the issues people have been talked about. as rob said we do try to keep ontop of the issues people have. 1.03 required a fair amout of rework but i think its worth it... once we have it sorted it will be released.

hehe, I've lost my XTR. Used to use it all the time, then I got Phoenix and forgot where I left XTR so it's a bit hard to sell at the moment...

Well she has I think got one in the pipe line from ebay.If she looses the bid I'm gonna ask for Phoinex.Do they do a hitek adapter for it?

Reflex goes for more than Phoenix costs new on ebay, as illustrated by Ashleys financial gain!
I never had xtr, but Phoenix is very good indeed.
Phoenix comes with JR connection and its a few quid extra for the othadaptor to other brands.
Hitec is the same as Futaba round plug which is what I'm using with my optic6.
Get 'er indoors to get you phoenix and something nice for herself (or something else nice for you).
