  • first ever flip but now...

    well completed my first ever flip

    then id did some more and then landed but landed in long grass
    well stripped the main gear but thats it (as far as im aware)
    well got that fixed easy but just went to test it and the blades aren't tracking properly
    any suggestions as to what is causing this??

    Probably bent feathering shaft or mainshaft.

    You should be checking the feathering shaft after every awquard landing even if everything else seems ok.

      If you call in somewhere like Staples they do Orange felt tip pen that when applied does not dry so can be rubbed off easy, however what you need to do is colour one end of the blade about finger width then bring heli to chest hight hover you will see how blades are tracking if blades dont track the poss feather shaft or dampers.
      Today's outlook is fine for flying.

        yer checked everything over double and seemed ok
        have tracked it now, just need to test it tomorrow
        if it's still not right then i might just order some parts and fit them JIC lol

                  was a bit off but think that was due to it being a little windy in all honesty to have properly attempted it but glad i did!
                  and as you may have seen in another thread i have now fixed the problems i was having
