Training software

Hi, this is my second post and I am taking advice from my first post responces to purchase the PhoenixRC training software. I had chance to dowload the demo and it unreal, very realistic. I want to use this before attempting to launch my new helicopter (still not purchased) does anyone have a this for sale second hand or can you suggest where to puchase it from. Being new I am not aware of the cheaped pleace/best customer service to get it from. Any help will be appreciated.

FastLads have it in stock £79.95 You don't seem to see it any cheaper mate , maybe because it's so popular , i dont know . But well worth it imo , i think it's defo the best Heli sim . Good luck in the hobby you wont go far wrong with Pheonix Rob .

It's a fact !! It's the same price everywhere - a bit like Dyson vacuum cleaners. I have placated my frugality by promising to sell it on ebay when I have finished in it.
By the way, if you are using it with a DX6i setup for a Blade 400, you will need to setup a new model in your tx as a Helicopter only. Otherwise you will be all over the place and as puzzled as I was until I realised this fact - good luck.

If you want a cheap sim to get started, I recommend HelisimRC which is freeware, and is very realistic and great for basic flight training, invert etc - doesn't have the fancy graphics or features of full price sims, but its fantastic for free.

I use it with a cheap USB controller from ebay, and it works great.

FastLad and Heliguy both sell it for similar prices.
I'd recommend you try Phoenix, I've found it very good and an ideal tool to learn with.

Hi Guys thank you so much for your replies. I decided if I am going to this proerly then I should purchase the software. - I decided to buy the phoenix and DX6i from fastlad. Been on it a few days now Blimey it aint easy, lol getting better slowly. Thank you all for your help.

Once you get to grips with the transmitter and trimming the heli you'll start to get on top of things.
I am still in the early stages, but its good fun and at least when I crash on Phoenix it does not cost anything!
