converting neon blaze?

I started out with a Neon Blaze 2.4Ghz but was getting nowhere with it(non programmable radio).I bought a trex450 kit,bought a Spektrum DX6i and followed finless bob's setup videos to the letter.This heli flies like a dream and I am progressing in leaps and bounds with it.My question is could I convert the Neon Blaze to use the Spektrum?I know I would have to replace the receiver,and probably the esc,and fit a seperate gyro.The tail is motor driven on this heli so how would I go about controlling this.I may be trying to do the impossible

I had a play on an old electric heli before which had a motor driven tail and think it will involve you putting another small esc to control the speed of the motor on the tail.

..It is possible.

To be honest mate it can be done - BUT I recon you'd be much better off just selling the Neon Blaze as it is and putting the money either into your Trex or into another heli.
