What is a cyclock, what is it used for, what does it do , how much is one etc... Cheers.

On blackberry so will be a bit short but basically it is used to do ccpm mixing on board and therefore bypass any mixing latency in tx ccpm mixing. They work well on the 600 . They can also nb used on. A csm flybarless system with 3 720'4,

They are about 40 quid.
It does many things, but you need also the csm lead and a pc to do them.

Rather than use your tx ccpm program you set your tx like a raptor (separate elev, aileron and pitch) and plug those rx channels into the bikelock and it does the ccpm mix.

Yuo can program a virtual cyclic ring (as you stir the stick you get a constant max swash tilt, not a bit more with the stick in the corner).

you can make adjustments to the phase - change the roll axis so it is a little off parallel with the tail boom, or more importantly correct it so it is parallel.

you can compensate for thenon linearity of the servo output discs

If using a revlock30 you can make it automatically back off on the collective to stop it bogging (collective management).

It enables the use of two gyros to drive a csm flybarless system.

As it takes the pitch channel and sends it to the three swas servos it does so all at the same time whereas from the rx the three channels are sent in turn, one after the other with jr, but the first two, then a wait for throttle and rudder and gyro gain, then the third with futaba. some people reckon with futaba they can see the swash tip a bit when they move collective.

It probably does lots of other things too.

Can't add much more than what's been said - its does pretty much most. Though if the aim was to go flybarless I'd suggest a different route.

It takes control of the cyclic mixing away from the TX allowing you to eliminate (mostly) any interactions between Ail/Elev/Pitch.
It also allows you to adjust the phasing electronically and add a virtual cyclic ring which stops the cyclics binding when the sticks go to the corners.

think most have forgot to add that as you are running 140+ on endpoints you get full resolution of the servo travel which makes the model feel a hell of alot crisper , plus you can dial out any interaction between servos ... I love mine and it feels like flying a different model even though it flew wel before I had a cycloc
